Greetings,
My name is Skip Hamilton. I own and operate the design & printing company ProPrint in Corvallis since 1978. I would like to tell you about myself so you know who I am.
After being in the Navy for 5 years a friend offered me a job at one of his print shops in Hawaii. I liked working with customers and meeting their needs. I found the work satisfying and soon became the manager. I moved up the corporate ladder and found myself in LA overseeing multiple print shops across the USA.
When a print shop became available for purchase in Corvallis I jumped at the opportunity to leave the big city behind. I saw the Willamette Valley as a wholesome place to raise my three sons. Things we really enjoyed were camping and fishing for Salmon, Steelhead and Kokanee and spending time in the great outdoors.
My mother was a well known interior designer with a background in architecture. I grew up with an appreciation and an eye for good design. As I drive around town I frequently spot design work that could be improved upon. I see the very real importance of making sure that my customers have great design services available to them.
I currently live on a small farm in rural Linn County. My wife and I grow healthy food and raise Welsh Harlequin ducks for eggs. We share our lives with two English Cream Golden Retrievers. Their names are Luke Skywalker and Yoda.
Owning a business in Corvallis and living near Albany has given me great appreciation for both communities and both Linn and Benton Counties. I value giving back to my communities by donating my time and expertise to help law enforcement programs such as K-9 trading cards, Search and Rescue, chili cook-offs and other community based projects, along with the Boy Scouts, American Legion Baseball and other organizations that serve veterans and homeless.
Different customers want and need different things. With my design and printing experience I can make those things happen. I’m here to solve problems, create great designs, and offer prompt and reliable service.
From first time authors to government agencies, from invitations to baseball to memorials, from charity to small and big businesses, from home schoolers to higher education, from restaurants to realtor’s, who do I serve? I serve you.
